April 25, 2008 –Awesome 80's Dance Party to benefit "Weeki Wachee Girls" hosted by Deirdre McKenna and Ana Valenza. 8:00 p.m. at Indigo - 25-40 31st Ave., Astoria, NY. Raised over $1000!

January 26, 2008 – Cummings attends the Queens Pride Committee Winter Pride Dinner Dance, where 500 DVDs of the short film “Weeki Wachee Girls” will be distributed to all attendees.

January 24, 2008 – Cummings attends the Queens Council on the Arts awards ceremony to receive her grant of $2000 for a staged reading of “Weeki Wachee Girls.”

November 8, 2007 – Cummings holds her first fundraiser for the feature version of “Weeki Wachee Girls.” Raised over $4000!
